Of course not. I hate 2011 already. Still there has probably been another couple of pence in interest added to the Not A Lottery account (if i bothered to check it).

This week was the first use of a Lucky Dip ticket in this experiment. Let’s see if a randomly selected set of numbers faired any better than the usual ones…
One number matched. If i’d stuck with my usual numbers i’d have matched two. No prize either way so i can hardly claim to be upset or disappointed. If you’d like to play along at home and share my jubilation/disappointment next week i can tell you that my Lucky Dip numbers are 05, 11, 33, 39, 43 and 47. Meanwhile, i can report that the Not A Lottery bank account accrued two pence interest last month. TWO PENCE! This shit is getting wild.

Nothing out of the ordinary there then. I expect there’ll be another penny of interest in the bank account when i get around to checking. About the most exciting thing i have to report to you, dear viewer, is that i’ve finally changed my numbers. From next week onwards i’ll be playing a Lucky Dip ticket (that’s a ticket with a randomly generated set of six numbers, if you weren’t aware of UK Lotto terminology). Which means you should probably go out before Saturday and buy yourself a ticket with 06, 09, 11, 23, 33, 44 selected.
